Yes - that is my leg and foot in a really pretty brace... I go tomorrow for a cast and I'm looking at 6-8 weeks of crutches. I fractured my ankle bone by falling down the stairs in my house. I have bruises and pulled muscles everywhere! I can't believe how sore I am besides my ankle! And now - it is time for a nap... pain pills are kicking in! :)

How Nice is This...?
Yes - that is my leg and foot in a really pretty brace... I go tomorrow for a cast and I'm looking at 6-8 weeks of crutches. I fractured my ankle bone by falling down the stairs in my house. Ooooh Jamie! You poor thing. :( Although not personally but I know what you are going through. It looks all too familiar with what my mom just went through by missing a step. I hope the pain eases up a bit for you. *hugs*
Oh my goodness Jamie :( I'm so sorry. I hope the pain goes away quickly and you can just enjoy the time off your feet. Want me to send you some books to read?

Hi there I just saw your blog and I thought I was the only klutz that can fall down the steps and break something,lol. My wife drove me to the ER yesterday and xrays show a fracture so here I am stuck in the same splint as you and they stupid crutches that I can't get the hang of! I have to make an appointment with a foot specialist to get a cast,what a pain. My foot is still so swollen,my toes look like sausages,lol. How are you feeling? Feel free to email me and vent,not doing much today.
Oh man Dave - I can feel for you! It has now been 3 weeks and my foot STILL swells up every day by the time I get home from work... I hope your leg is doing better now!
